Effect of Superior`s Emotional Intelligence on LMX (LeaderMember Exchange) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Food & Beverage Department of Deluxe Hotel

    Abstract

    In this research, based on the fact that emotional intelligence could create exchange relationship among the members of the company, we tested the effects of emotional intelligence among the members to LMX in food and beverage department. The following is the discussion about the result of research. First of all, it is appeared that emotional intelligence of members has positive effect on LMX. Secondly, LMX of members appeared to have positive effect to organizational citizenship behavior. Thirdly, emotional intelligence appeared to have positive effect toward organizational citizenship behavior. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the mediated effect of LMX between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior, it is revealed that emotional intelligence contains indirect effect mediated by LMX and direct effect toward organizational citizenship behavior.
